Brandy started her career as an under-age guitar player
in a club owned by Jack Ruby in Dallas. Since then she has played with
a list of performers that reads like a Who's Who of music. The list
includes the Houston Pops Orchestra, Bobbie Gentry, The Original Platters,
Chuck Berry, Jackie de Shannon, Billie Joe Royal, Stan Kenton, Teresa
Brewer, Sammy Davis Jr., Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway,
Patti Page, Steve Allen, and Burl Ives, to name a few. She's done studio
work in Dallas and USO Tours to the Far East.
She moved to Colorado in 1990 and now spends time in Colorado and Santa
Fe, New Mexico. Her latest musical adventure is accompanying Tony Buford
in a "jazz/motown/bossa" mellow format show. They play regularly
at the Silver Starlight Lounge in Santa Fe and occassionally at Sweet
Fanny Adams and other places in Colorado.
